Located on Clare Street in the heart of Bristol’s historic centre—and just a short walk from the Harbourside—our restaurant is surrounded by some of the city’s best-known landmarks, including Bristol Cathedral, College Green, and the historic St Nicholas Market.
Inside, the 100-cover restaurant stays true to our design philosophy of celebrating the history of buildings. Exposed brick and stone walls reveal the building’s original character and provide a warm backdrop to the space. Oak floorboards and tables, reclaimed chairs, soft, warm lighting and generous planting give this restaurant our unmistakable Flat Iron atmosphere.
The menu at Flat Iron Brighton includes all our usual suspects: the signature Flat Iron steak and sides of beef dripping chips, crisp bone marrow garlic mash and creamed spinach. Blackboard beef specials include our green chilli cheeseburger (made using our Flat Iron herd beef) and a Wagyu steak of the day. Drink-wise the restaurant offers our carefully curated wine, cocktail and draught beer list, including a pale ale blackboard special, Magazine Cover, from local independent brewery Deya.
