NEWCASTLE
NOW OPEN
The Grade II listed building is something special, and its heritage has shaped the restaurant from the outset. We’ve stripped the space back to reveal as much of the original fabric as possible — exposed brickwork, generous ceiling heights and retained structural elements that speak to the building’s past.
A central bar anchors the space leading through to a 95-cover dining room. Throughout, vintage furniture and glass lighting create a space that feels relaxed, warm and welcoming. Along the historic frontage, street-side seating along with our signature planting connects Flat Iron Newcastle to Grey Street.
We’re serving our signature flat iron steak and sides, alongside blackboard specials including a Wagyu steak of the day, alongside cocktails, draft beer and a carefully curated selection of wines.
