Flat Iron Southbank is located at the back of the Royal Festival Hall overlooking Southbank Market Square, right in the heart of one of London’s most vibrant and iconic areas.

The design of the restaurant pays homage to the rich architectural history of the Royal Festival Hall, a landmark of modern British architecture. 

Outside, on the Southbank Market Square, under the overhanging balcony of Royal Festival Hall, the restaurant has a large covered terrace, architectural style planting and strings of festoon lighting. Inside, a large, central bar will divide the space into two – a brighter bar seating area at the front, and the main dining area at the back.

We are serving our signature Flat Iron steak and sides, blackboard specials including the Wagyu special steak of the day, alongside cocktails, draft beer and our curated selection of wines.

CARCASS CLUB NEW YEAR’S EVE SPECIAL

CARCASS CLUB

In a special twist on their Carcass Club series, guests will enjoy a bespoke feast centred around a generous 300g Wagyu sirloin, followed by exclusive access to Southbank Centre’s riverside area to watch the Mayor of London’s annual New Year’s Eve fireworks.

The Wagyu sirloin will be accompanied by beef dripping chips, sauce Choron, two additional sides of choice, and a bottle of Flat Iron’s limited-release St Émilion wine to share between two. The Wagyu is sourced from First Light Farms in New Zealand, which is renowned for producing exceptionally tender beef with an unparalleled depth of flavour. Before heading off to see the fireworks, guests will be offered one more Wagyu treat.
