FAQs

Located in the heart of Bankside, along the narrow, cobbled Clink Street, the site of the notorious prison, The Clink, our Borough restaurant sits in one of London’s most fascinating historic quarters. Here, we rub shoulders with the Globe Theatre, Southwark Cathedral and Borough Market.

Our beautiful Victorian building still has its original windows, exposed cast iron columns, as well as vintage seating and reclaimed Staffordshire blue quarry tiles.

You’ll find all our most loved dishes, from the signature Flat Iron steak to beef dripping chips and crisp bone marrow garlic mash, as well as changing blackboard specials such as Wagyu steak of the day, and a compact but considered wine list.

This restaurant is located in the heart of Bankside, on the narrow, cobbled Clink Street, the site of the notorious prison, The Clink. This is one of London’s most fascinating historic quarters and we’re excited to have as “neighbours” the Globe Theatre, Southwark Cathedral and Borough Market.

We have embraced the historic nature of the beautiful Victorian building we are housed in, exposing cast iron columns, retaining the original windows, using reclaimed Victorian Staffordshire blue quarry tiles and balancing them with classic Flat Iron design features, such as oak tables, vintage chairs, warm lighting and lots of plants.
